Last night I finished my third book about North Korean defectors. THIS IS PARADISE! by Hyok Kang was definitely a good read. I learned mostly about how a child is brought up and I can't say that I'm not shocked to find out the details. This book made me understand even more how the people of North Korea are brainwashed as early as the age of two.. it's just really sad.
The best book in this category though, is still hands down Escape from Camp 14 by Blaine Harden.. it made me pretty emotional, and that says a lot.
